The United Brethren in Christ Church @ Kilburn Ave. Rockford, IL

I was born in Illinois and grew up around Wheaton and West Chicago. I first became a Christian at age 22 because of my friendship with Pastor Kenneth Hall and my grandmother, Rose Gregory. I married Saundra Judge in 1977 and we had two sons, Jason and Joshua. We now have three grandsons, one in heaven and two here on earth.

Right now, I am a student at Liberty University online and am almost done with my BS in religion. After that, some time this year, I will begin working on my Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling and Master of Divinity. I have an honorary Doctor of Divinty degree from United Graduate College and Seminary and the United Evangelical Church of America, Inc. After many hours of online tests and phone interviews, this degree was bestowed upon me by Dr. Daniel R.Stiltner and Martin W. Wiser, Ph. D.  They have also ordained me as a chaplain and reverend.

For the past two years I have been the outreach team leader at the Evangelical Free Church of Mt. Morris, IL. Since 2008 I have also been a deacon there, and have preached at several area churches of many denominations. My home office is set up for counseling, and I have had the priviledge of counseling three couples and a few men with addictions. Last summer it was my pleasure to baptise a young man in my swimming pool, and lead two people to Christ. How amazing that God can do such wonders through someone so weak, thereby showing there is nothing done without His power.

As of January of this year, Bishop Ron Ramsey has appointed me as interim senior pastor of the United Brethren in Christ Church here in Rockford. Ron is also from Wheaton area and we have talked via phone and he has a copy of my resume.

It is an honor to be a part of God's ministry team, as I once was a sinner who broke all commandments, but because of His grace, have been afforded another chance to bring glory to the the Father through the Son and with the help of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
